My smart thermostat says I need a C-wire — what does that mean?
The C-wire (common wire) provides a consistent 24V power supply that most smart thermostats require to stay connected to Wi-Fi. Many older Wichita homes were wired without a C-wire. We can run a new C-wire from your furnace or air handler to the thermostat, or install a compatible adapter — it's a straightforward job for a licensed electrician.
Can you install a video doorbell if I don't already have a wired doorbell?
